St. John's Church Hall is home to the famous Snods Edge Sunday Teas. The teas were started in 1977 and were organised by the Snods Edge Wives Group (now known as Ladies Group).
Initially they ran only over the 6 week period of school summer holidays but things evolved with more groups getting involved so the period of operation was extended.
All of the people working on Sunday Teas are volunteers and funds raised go to many charities.
2021 Teas were reduced due to a delay in easing of Covid-19 restrictions so just ran on the Sundays through the Summer Holidays but proved to be as popular as ever.
For 2022, the Teas are provisionally scheduled to take place each Sunday from 3rd July - 21st August inclusive. Table service will continue as last year.
