Flower Arranging Club

The Flower Arranging Club began a number of years ago when a small band of people who used to come and decorate the church weekly and at the major festivals felt they needed help to improve their skills. It is usually a reasonable sized class of around 12 people - most of whom we're original members.

Our motto is Flowers, Fun and Fellowship and certainly friendships have been made and deepened over the years. New members have joined since the club started and continue to do so.

The club encourages enthusiasm amongst the members to develop current skills and introduce many new skills both at our regular regular meetings and occasional Saturday workshops with a professional tutor who gives insights into new ideas and introduces the club members to modern designs.

The class fee of £2.00 per session goes towards the provision of equipment for specialised arrangements as well as the Oasis foam used for most arrangements.

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month in the Hall and we give a warm welcome to anyone who would like to join us.
